Express Entry is an electronic system offers a streamlined and efficient approach to the immigration process, for Skilled workers set on establishing a life in Canada.
Express Entry is an online selection system for Canadian immigration. It is for those who want to move to Canada as a federal skilled worker, federal trade worker, or Canadian experience class program participant.
It is designed to select skilled workers qualified to immigrate to Canada in as little as six months. Skilled immigrants are chosen as permanent residents based on their ability to settle in Canada.
Express Entry has many other significant advantages: there are no quotas on the number of people who can apply, and the processing times for successful candidates can be less than six months.
An online profile is created based on qualifications, age, education, language proficiency, work experience, and other program-specific factors. The applicant's ability to meet specific points system criteria to qualify will be assessed and then submitted into the Express Entry Pool.
Once your profile is submitted, you are automatically assigned a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) of up to 1200 points. Canadian employers and provincial governments across Canada access the best candidates who are then issued invitations to apply (ITAs) by the Federal government to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
It's a three-step process:
Step 1: Create an Online Applicant's Profile.
Step 2: Receive an 'Invitation to Apply' for Permanent Residence.
Step 3: You have 60 days to apply for Permanent Residence.
If you think you might be eligible to apply to any of the following programs and require information, please complete our free assessment today, and a licensed immigration consultant will contact you to discuss your options and strategy for immigration to Canada.
To qualify for FSW, a candidate must first meet a minimum of 67 FSW points out of 100. This criterion is based on years of work experience, level of education, age, and English or French language proficiency.
This points system differs from the comprehensive ranking points system (CRS). You only qualify under the Federal Skilled Worker program; once the minimum 67 points are met, you will be assigned a total ranking score.
Now, you need to meet the minimum FSW requirements:
You must also pass the language test to determine your language ability - Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
You must meet the education requirements of high school, a post-secondary diploma, or the equivalent here in Canada.
You must also plan to live outside the province of Quebec and not be inadmissible to Canada.
If you are interested in applying under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, contact us at your convenience and complete our Online assessment questionnaire.
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) is tailored for individuals seeking permanent residency in Canada based on their qualifications in a specific skilled trade.
This program is accessible to applicants categorized under the National Occupational Classifications (NOC) within TEER 2 or TEER 3. Skilled trades covered under the Major and Minor Group include, but are not limited to:
To qualify, you must possess a minimum of 24 months of full-time or equivalent work experience in an eligible skilled trade within the past five years.
Additionally, you must meet the job requirements outlined by the NOC 2021 TEER 2 or TEER 3 Key Major Groups, except for certification or qualification issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial, or federal authority.
Language skills requirements in this program differ from the Full Skilled Worker (FSW) program, with a prerequisite of CLB 5 for speaking and listening, while CLB 4 for reading and writing is acceptable.
Furthermore, it is mandatory to demonstrate that you have met all pertinent employment requirements within your skilled trade occupation.
You are also required to have a valid job offer in the skilled trade for a minimum of one year or a Canadian Certificate of Qualification in the skilled trades.
Please note that eligibility for this program hinges on your intention to reside outside the province of Quebec and your admissibility to Canada.

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who have spent significant time in Canada, whether for education or work and now wish to make Canada their permanent home. If you meet the requirements, you may be eligible to apply for Permanent Residence under the Canadian Experience Class through Express Entry.
Here are the essential requirements for CEC:
Work Experience: You must have accumulated at least 12 months of full-time work experience within the last three years. This experience should be in an occupation classified under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 in the National Occupational Classification (NOC 2021).
Language Proficiency: Language proficiency is essential. A CLB 7 score is required for NOC 2021 TEER 0 or TEER 1 occupations, and a CLB 5 score is necessary for TEER 2 or TEER 3 occupations.
Province of Quebec: It's important to note that you should have a different intention to live in the Province of Quebec. However, if you have work experience from Quebec, this can contribute to meeting the requirements for CEC.
For eligible candidates, the Canadian Experience Class is a practical and valuable pathway to achieving permanent residency.
Even more convenient is that you can submit your application from within Canada. Having the appropriate temporary status allows a seamless transition from temporary to permanent resident status in Canada.

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) are your gateway to becoming a permanent resident in Canada and settling in a specific province of your choice.
Here's how it all works:
Provincial Variety:
Each Canadian province (excluding Quebec, which follows a distinct selection system) and two territories have their unique Provincial Nominee Programs.
These provinces and territories establish agreements with IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) that empower them to select immigrants who meet their specified criteria.
Diverse Selection Criteria:
Provinces with PNP programs tailor their selection criteria to identify immigrants with skills in demand in their region and may need to be more readily available locally.
The criteria and the range of occupations in demand vary widely from province to province, covering fields like information technology, healthcare, agriculture, trades, business, investment, and individuals with ties to Canada.
How it Works:
To make their dream of permanent residency in Canada a reality, candidates must first enter the Express Entry System with their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. They then apply to a PNP program, which is a separate application. While in the Express Entry pool, you will wait for a year or until you're selected to apply for permanent residence.
Once the province processes your PNP application, which typically takes 3-4 months, you'll receive 600 points to boost your Express Entry score. With this significant point increase, you will be selected and invited to apply for permanent residency at the next draw, which occurs every two weeks.
Benefits of the PNP Program:
Receiving a Provincial Nominee Certificate is a game-changer. Adding 600 points to your Express Entry score gives you a substantial edge. Individuals without a PNP certificate typically score between 300 and 500 for context. The recent cutoff scores for Express Entry have fallen within the 400 - 500 range. However, individuals with a PNP Certificate automatically receive 600 points, elevating their Express Entry score to above 900. This score surpasses the current cutoff selection score of around 400-500 points.
The PNP program provides a powerful advantage, increasing your chances of achieving Canadian permanent residency and making your pathway to making Canada your home not just possible but significantly more accessible. Please fill out our free assessment or contact us today.
What is the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)? The CRS is a points-based system that gives a score to a candidate based on the information in the candidate’s Express Entry profile.
Candidates are entered into a pool of candidates and then ranked using the CRS online system based on their qualifications, age, education, language proficiency, and work experience. Other factors, such as job offers or provincial nominees for permanent residence, result in higher scores for the applicant.
Using these factors, the applicants will be given a score out of a maximum of 1,200 points. The highest-ranked applicants are given the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. These scores allow the candidates in the pool to be ranked against each other by measuring their human capital contribution to Canada.
Candidates with a job offer have an advantage worth another 50- 200 points based on the NOC TEER Major group.
A candidate with a provincial nomination will automatically receive an extra 600 points, which will almost always give the candidate an ITA to apply for permanent residence.
